Ending explained

Arthur clears the asylum’s final boss and goes home. The official blurb then names the next nightmare: Horror High School. That is the only ending sentence the publisher wrote. It does not say whether Horror High School is a sequel, a new drama, or a tease.

Episode 42’s page repeats the series blurb and has no review snippet of its own. Episode 41’s review section describes a short real-world beat: Samantha appears with warm skin, affection is shown at 100, Anna is under the bed, and someone named Kido has followed them out. I keep that as one page’s review cue, not as the publisher’s ending statement. The episode list marks which other rows have the same kind of cue.

Season 2

On 2 November 2026 the five public Horror Game dramas did not include a series called Horror High School, and I found no second-season notice on the series page. I will not write “renewed” and I will not write “cancelled.” The status is: not announced on that date.

How I read the hook

The romance system asks Arthur to pursue the ghost nurse instead of only fighting the monsters. Samantha’s S-rank is both her ghost grade and the target the system locks onto. “Home” in the last line is not written as safety. It is the door the blurb opens onto Horror High School. That last sentence is my reading of the blurb, labeled as a reading.
